Over ten years ago, Northwest Asian Weekly featured the story of our founder, Winnie Che, and her journey in building Greenland Herbal Wellness. The article highlighted Winnie’s deep ties to Seattle’s International District, where our offices were once located in the Eng Suey Family Plaza. It also reflected on her humble beginnings as a refugee, the businesses she and her husband Chris Dawn built in the community, including one of the first karaoke venues in Chinatown and the Little Saigon restaurant and the family they raised together.
The piece shared a pivotal part of Winnie’s personal story: her health challenges in the late 1980s and how they inspired her lifelong dedication to wellness. Following her recovery, she collaborated with health professionals to create what would become Naturin2, our company’s flagship herbal tonic. Since then, Winnie has traveled internationally to share both her family’s story and her belief in the importance of living a balanced, health-focused life.
Today, more than 30 years later, Greenland Herbal Wellness continues to honor that original vision - bringing high-quality herbal supplements to people who value tradition, resilience, and everyday well-being.
